I think the NHL tried to end all "March of the Penguins" references for this year via the crazy March schedule:

@Blackhawks
@Predators
@Sharks
@Ducks
@Capitals
Capitals
@Flyers
Flyers
Stars
@Red Wings
Lightning
Blues Penguins
Coyotes Penguins
Kings Penguins
@Blue Jackets
Blackhawks

Only four of those teams are not in playoff position at this point.

That's an ugly schedule for the pens

I ain't scared 7 games against the west who the penguins have played very well against in recent years. Philly nor Washington scare me.

They're just going to be those rough grinding games. And the fact that they have so many games a couple weeks before playoffs won't help their injury situation

love it. no better way to get into playoff mode.

and whoever said they want jagr one more time, couldn't agree more. would love to see him join the team, win the cup, and retire as a penguin.

will never understand all the hate from pens fans towards him. I understand he isn't exactly a "team player" and I know the marriage between us and him didn't end well, but youre still talking about the 3rd or 4th best player in our history and one of the best Europeans to ever play the game.

If I could make a bet I'd call a 11-5 record on these 16 games in March.

Sutter is playing on Crosby's wing tonight...... Bylsma's way of slowing down Kuni and Sid a little. Put out a worthless anchor with two of the most speed oriented players in the league. Now that's a great idea.

Obviously we are playing the Caps and the jerseys don't match but I hope this sort of stuff happens just for you Bartley

A puck will bounce off his head or something and go in, then everyone will say "we finally found a fit for Sid's wing!!!" I can already see it coming.

When told Bartley couldn't think any less of him, Brandon Sutter couldn't find words to express his sadness

I don't care how it goes in. I think he's infinitely more valuable as a 3rd line center than Jokinen but I won't be rooting against him. I'm sure Bylsma won't stick to it for more than a shift or two before Engelland is out there with them.

Who the hell is Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond? For the second day in a row we have called on a guy that I had no idea existed.

Think Steve Mcintyre. Fighter. Played some games with the Devils a few years ago. Not very good.

1 goal and 1 assist and 137 penalty minutes this year. Please tell me the Caps are just bad ass or something. Uher or Khanuckle???

Enforcer type. 137 PIMs and 2 points. Not sure what brought this on. I'd rather they have Zolnierczyk on stand by or playing.

At this point, I'd have called Kuhnhackl up for a bit just to give him some time...maybe with Crosby and Kunitz, if not the 3rd line. He's played pretty well. For him it's a matter of health. There is some honest talent there.

I mean the guy they just called up seems odd. I can see wanting to add some toughness but this guy is useless if Caps don't have a similar player.

For a moment I thought Knuble was on our AHL team.

That's a new version for Kuhnhackl.

Agreed. Rechlicz is in Hershey and he's one of the only guys I think that matches Leblond in style. Ironically, they just recalled Connor Carrick again which is more of a move for real hockey reasons.

I thought that with Engelland we didn't need another enforcer type like Letorneau-Leblond. Bringing Zolnierczyk would be much better.
