So let me get this straight, Im an "idiot" and need to go back to "3rd grade because:
1) I think that despres has played among the top 6 dmen on the team and deserves to dress every night.
2) pointing out that orpik has been terrible since returning
3) Pointing out that we desperately need to up grade the 3rd line wingers ASAP because of the extra strain its placing on our top guys.
4) Pointing out that Kunitz could help team Canada on the kill (granted exaggerated)
5)spelling errors while typing on my phone. (careless)

I find it hilarious we are discussing defense so intently. When, frankly it's offense where are lean. Shero's greatest strength acquiring capable defensemen is also his greatest weakness. With all the injuries that weakness is exposed, namely we lack forwards. Period. I appreciate all the great defensemen but not being left so freaking short of decent forwards. There needs to be a balance and if there isn't we need to question Shero's judgment, IMO.

Shero should look into acquiring David Jones. He's a big, fast gritty foward that could easily put up 25 goals on our team.

Engo hasn't been dressing as a defenseman for the most part of this season, and Despres hasn't been better than Bortuzzo in the games that he has played. Bortuzzo brings a nastiness that Despres doesn't have.
