Are they willing to move any of them? I don't follow Dallas to closely. I see them twice a year - dbell646
(frank)ed if I know. I don't think either would be anywhere near being considered part of the core. But if I was Dallas I would stop answering the phone when Shero calls so who knows... |

Yeah, even with the cap going up that's tough. It'd be more tempting with a guy like Pavelski I think. Maybe more so than Staal. Shero was willing to offer that to him too. But, it looks like Sutter will be around $3-3.5 probably. He does enough. Just need to put decent guys around him. - HopintheCordoba
Agreed ... In addition ... Even though shero prefers 2 year deals I could see them locking him up for 3 years possibly 4... |

If I were Dallas I'd just keep transferring his call to different departments until he hung up. |

Agreed , would love to have ott, not sure it's realistic though - Bradlee3
A 1st rounder would get him out of Buffalo, and maybe a Dustin Jeffery; O wait, crap. |

What about Pyrel (spelling) from WB/S? I liked what I saw in the preseason. I am pretty sure I have heard he has been injured a bit this year but I wouldn't mind seeing what he has to offer. |

I don't know if there is any chance of Shero trading that 1st. Are we without our 2nd this year? |

I loved him prior to the season starting. I'm guessing he hasn't showed much in WB |

Yeah I thought he looked good and exactly what was needed on this team but obviously it was a small sample size and against lesser opponents in the preseason. Still, I'd like to see him in the NHL for a few games just to see. You never know. |

As I think about it , do we really need another center over needing wingers ? |

I find it odd that you say you finished third grade a long time ago, but use ellipses instead of periods and cannot make/take the effort to type the first two letters of "you". - Ben37

I totally agree, CPF. I like Sutter but that'd be a tough guy to turn away at that kind of price. Plus, you could use him higher on the totem pole if necessary. - HopintheCordoba
For a moment I thought I read CPZ (Casey Pierro-Zabotel) |

I thought his skills were holding him down otherwise He'd be playing for another AHL/NHL franchise. |

Not according to his wife. According to her, he was the Penguins best prospect and should be on the AHL instead of the ECHL. She was a big talker though, she wanted to move Wilkes-barre instead of Bakersfield. |

Trading away a first round pick this year without having a second would be dumb. We traded our second for Murray. Our organization needs more depth at forward. Picking in the third round really doesn't help that.

Talking about Murray he got cut pretty bad on a fight against John Scott the other day. If you haven't watched it you should. Entertaining. |

I'm pretty sure she's not the best evaluator.
