why would the jets have any interest in gardiner? byfuglien, bogosian, trouba, enstrom etc...yea they really need gardiner.

Byfuglien would be on his way out or up front like they have used him lately. It would secure Winnipeg's future on the blueline and in net while allowing the team to get back a haul for Buff while they can. Further cementing their future as a contender for teh cup and our hearts.

We know Winnipeg desperately needs goaltending. Does Murray give up Lehner and another piece (Stone, Lazar) in order to get Kane? Murray says he will not trade Lazar, usually a sign he might be persuaded.

If Murray has it in mind he wants to do a big deal he is usually pretty good at getting his player.

Lehner and one of those guys should be enough. Lehner can win games on his own. It's hard to believe he is only 22. He's about to take the Rask path to the top of the goalie heap.

Edler=Beyond overrated by Canadian fans(mostly Vancouver) and media. Booth is a dump that Winnipeg would have absolutely zero interest in.

That would be the point. You'd have two defensive pairings that are a threat every time they are on the ice eating up 45-50 minutes a game. What team wouldn't want that?
