I think that the Flyers missed the .500 mark, and are headed back down to it. It was nice of them to give us a little hope. However, reality is settling in. Some players decide to take some nights off, and play like the lazy millionaires that many of them are. When the players refuse to make quick, and crisp passes, and just push at the puck gently, you are in for a long night. It's one thing to lose if you are playing hard, but it's another to just sit there, and do nothing for 50-60 minutes.
I also can't figure out the call ups, or the temporary 1-way ticket subs that we have. Rosehill? Really? Tye Mcginn? His brother plays better than he does. Why don't we try bringing up some other folks from the Phantoms, rather than the usual suspects? Come on management, what is your obsession with size over substance?
I am sorry to be a little negative, but I am a frustrated fan when it comes to our play. We are not consistent, and some players decide to take some nights off. If I didn't care about the team, I wouldn't even say a word.
Thanks for listening.

Carcillo wouldn't go with Simmonds or Rosehill. L. Schenn is much bigger and stronger than Carcillo. Handled himself well.
- PLindbergh31

yea but schenn certainly isn't a fighter like simmonds or rosehill

Nope. That's why Carcillo dropped the gloves. Got manhandled for his troubles.

No margin of error. Can go from second in division to seventh in a week.

It's cute that the Flyers are coming off huge winning streak overall and at home, they lose a game and a half, and we're back to this again.

Since when is it OK for players to just protect the puck and face the boards? Onus has to be on the puck carrier also.

He cut and turned face first into the boards as Grossmann had already committed to the body.

Not sure about that. Schenn off the ice for 5 minutes is ok by me.

win 2 games, flex muscles in mirror and looking forward to playoff matchup in May

lose 2 games, write tirade, trade half the team, fire GM, ask what junior players are best in draft class

well, at least Emery is having a strong 2nd period. Anyone think Grossmann gets the healthy scratch after his performance tonight?

Berube has done a good job overall, but one thing that hasn't improved. The penalties just keep on coming in droves.

It is a penalty, but it is a stupid rule. The guy turns his back knowing he would get hit. Grossman cant stop that fast, its impossible. They may as well just eliminate hitting. As long as players put themselves in danger to draw penalties......
