Did I miss something? What's up with the Kunitz-Canucks connection?

Quite the overall package seems to be. Especially in the 5th round. What's his chance of transitioning to nhl game.
- Yeti1181

Still too early to tell. But he's got the advantage of being solid in most aspects—not limited to just offense or defense.

He's developing well.

Probably good second-pairing upside, if he pans out. But who knows at this point?

Also Maine's best shutdown D, I might add.

Plays in all situations.

Very nice.

Haven't actually seen him play, but of course all of the numbers and scouting reports sound promising so far.

Someone posted this at HF today:

Shows promise which is good. Seems like the college guys transition quicker as well, I assume due to age.

A few of us might have spent some time in the pens blog disrespecting Kunitz.

Ps: eagles still suck.

Much like Bozak makes Kessel and JVR better players, Kunitz does the same for Crosby and Malkin.

You also have to factor dion is playing for a team that is perennial near the bottom vs perennial president trophy teams. So doubtful the gap would be that big.

Ken Hitchcock, who knows a thing or two about hockey, begs to differ.

Kunitz is the reason for crosby success without him he's nothing. He takes real talent to play with crosby.

Pretty hard for Dion to play against the best players in the league when they're all on his team

Apparently he's the only one who can play with Crosby... Other than Brian Gibbons.

I have no idea what they'll do in the Olympics... Who's going to be able to play right wing with Crosby and Kunitz? I guess Bergeron because he played junior with Crosby....
