gagner, 2014 1st

grigorenko, myers +

just what that plus is, I cant really think of.
is it alot more? without bein homers on either team, which package is better?

maybe add in OTT and we add in a conditional 2nd and even a 3rd should he resign??

- hugefemale dog77

Yuk.Eberle maybe. Myers is signed for a long time.

They don't score. John Scott, DAgostini, Linus Omark, Ville Leino are on this team.
So if we get Reinhardt should I expect him in the Jr. because of maturity.
People confuse hard work with production. Matt Ellis and Cody McCormick stink but they work real hard. For years people say Ovechkin loafs and is great.

One player isn't going to change the ability of this team to score. So at this point players that play in a team system are the only option. Grigorenko just doesn't fit right now. I keep wanting to compare him and Afinegenov but Max had a much higher motor.

No clue he is 19.... Iknow most of my forwards cant play. Why not give this kid a real shot 20 games in top9. Lets see if Nolan still has it

Done. That's definitely one way to commit to a rebuild. I'd rather keep Myers and trade Ehrhoff though.

If Nolan thought he could get more out of him we wouldn't be having this debate. The previous administration really screwed this up.

id consider ehrhoff too. but rather myers of course. an older dman for that first is abit scary. we could haggle.

id assume ull take reinhart regardless of whether u get 1 or 2. but with acquiring the other pick and ekblad available as well, one of myers and ehrhoff become extremely expendable.

I would not Trade Myers for Gagner and your 2014 first let alone thrown in our problem child.

If this is true than phase one is complete

Phase two would be for the Quebec Ramparts to put Mikhail Grigorenko on waiver after that 59 other teams from the chl will get an opportunity to claim his right. Rember the Rampart don't have a roster spot for him.

Phase three is the sabres must wait 24 hours.

Question
Does this hurt the chl

Aswer
No

Reason
Because mikhail grigorenko is to good for the chl there is nothing the chl can do for him and if he go's back it then takes time away from the other players and that is what is important.

Question
Do i think mikhail grigorenko is ready for the nhl

Aswer
No

Question
Is he ready for the ahl

Aswer
Yes

- mike13wilkins

He has to report before he can be placed on waivers in the CHL, he said he won't report... So phase two is a bust from the get go.

If he did report.. What makes you think no team will want his star power on their team and claim him???

Nolan is notoriously bad with prospects.

He'd be perfect for the ahl and he could learn with armia which would be good because I want those two to develop chemistry so they can go to the 2nd line in 2 years with girgensons. also figure that if those guys are our 2nd line then we've drafted a wealth of 1st line talent at that point.

Grigo is awful and won't even be talked about in 2 years. There's a reason he dropped from a consensus top 3 pick to 12. Are the other 11 GMs confused, or did Buffalo bone themselves? Not tough to figure out.

Definately interested in seeing Murray's reaction to this...

Will he crack the whip and send an authoritive message to his players to le tem know who is in charge?

Can you even trade him at this point? Might Patrick Roy think he can salvage Grigorenko?

The way Edmonton is going you are going to get #2 pick Ekblad . Perfect for you guys . That is one pick you should not trade.

If he cracks the whip he loses one of his best off prospects

Is Myers worth a top-2 (as of now) pick? Is Myers worth more than Eberle? There's your answer.

I keep balking at gagner...im just not sold on him, I don't know why. But if we trade grigs Myers, Adam and McNabb and something like a 2nd for gagner and the 2014 first, you have to say yes getting ekblad and Reinhart. Lets not forget we have ristolainen, zadorov and McCabe on the farm.

You're not sold because he's shown nothing to warrant his contract, is small, and doesn't make the Sabres any better

I just feel like Gagner is Timmy C version 2.0 . Don't want to do that again
