Hiller would be a good fit, but that's if Anaheim actually lets him walk. |

Ufas are also not a great way to build a team, look at Clarkson and clowe. Not much is left now on jJuly 1st, and what is, usuallyis crap and way overpaid. I think Snow is going to need to trade for thepieces we need. |

Lots of goalies potentially this offseason. Khudoban, scrivens, Hiller. I'm not a huge Hiller guy. Don't think he's much if any of an upgrade over nabby. He's younger and probably won't get hurt. I really like khudoban |

Why give up something when you can sign him in the offseason? |

Would be great if Poulin shows he could be the #1 guy. That would solve lots of problems. |

I think behind a better team he'd be talked about as a potential starter in the near future. Tough when he allows 1 goal on a breakaway and still gets ripped by some. |

You know what? I do think that Poulin can be a starter for Islanders. I do think that Bailey could better than he is right now. That includes Grabner and Clutterback. Yes I think that Clutter back could be top 20s goal scorer. This is business. If they stink, time to let go of them except for Grabner. He starts to show some life right now. Thank god! Just as long as he still scores after missing million of breakaways. heh |

heres the thing with the kids, we've seen a ton of people talk about wanting to get rid of Okposo. We DID get rid of Bertuzzi, we got rid of Chara, countless others who went on to play at a level that made us look back at those deals and remember them as some of the worst ever. Okposo is finally putting it together, and Poulin has barely played in the NHL.
Bailey..tough call. He's been so bad this year. You take a risk moving players too early. That being said, sometimes you can hold on too long (see comeau, who should have been moved after his 24 goal season, and went for nothing on waivers the next year)
I'm pretty sure Bailey isn't going to suddenly put it together now, but Poulin deserves a much longer look.

I expected more from the guy. Isles back to playing lousy in front on Poulin. They did not play that great last game either. |

Martin with a good back check there or it's 3-0.
Not our best period, understatement. |

Just when things are going well for this team, they have to go back to their lousy lazy ways and lose focus. |

Ouch.....lets get the PP back on track...we all know when you are in the middle of a losing streak that if the isles can get an early goal in 2nd it may get the Stars reeling.... |

So we get screwed with no slashing call when JT's stick gets broken on what would have been a sure goal, then amac hands the puck away last man back and causes a shorthanded situation. What a pile of crap. |
