If you're literally talking about a pack of wolves, then I agree. - 1979AD
A pack of wolves on skates would play infinitely better defense than a pack of Fransons.
Gardiner is our third best defender right now.
Franson is brutal in his own end.
Ranger and Fraser go without saying.
Rielly is young and has a lot left to learn.
Gleason? Well, I guess he could prove something to us in time. |

I cannot stand gin.
But scotch..... - Fakepartofme
We got 2 bottles of gin over the holidays.
We're almost through them, but are out of tonic. |

The top of a bad pack of defensive players.
Im not saying he's the worse....but damn...he's made so many errors. - Fakepartofme
he's certainly had opportunity since the coach you don't want fired plays him more than any other D man when he's in the lineup (and actually more than Dion in some games). |

I like Gardiner and I like Franson...but Franson has been absolutely brutal in his own end. BRUTAL!!! |

Both have played the same number of games at an almost identical ice time per game.
Gardiner has allowed 29 even strength goals. Franson 39. |

Alfred Hitchcock and Winston Churchill both liked them this way. According to some sources, Churchill's idea of a martini was to take the glass and waft it towards France.
I tend to like them drier than most. Just burn the glass with vermouth. I also prefer a couple olives. Nothing beats the briny goodness of an olive in a martini. - Leeman4Gilmour

So tell me what does Gardiner do that you like?
Soft on the boards in his end?
Shoots like a girl?
I love how he can skate, but after he gets over our blue line...if it gets over...he's pretty much useless....he just ices it!!! and leaves Franson by himself over and over |

Cheer up. If you didn't have teenage kids in the 90's, you don't count.
Eg. You probably care if your kids are wearing their seatbelts or not. - 1979AD
I'm the youngest of four kids.
Let's forget about seatbelts - I didn't even get a seat until the age of about 12 on family trips.
They crammed me in the back with the luggage. |

Literally one of only 2 dmen that can get the puck past centre without icing the (frank)ing thing.....be it by passing or skating with it. |

94 proof is nothing
just 7% more than normal alcohol.
Try 151 proof rum. |

I don't care how he gets the job done. All I know is that he's performing it better than Franson this year.
I really don't care how many imaginary hits the ACC stat counter has awarded Franson, and his slightly better offensive production will only ensure he gets well overpaid this off season. |
