Could be worse. The Leafs could have Leino on the team right now.

Clarkson / Leino - what's the difference really?

They don't have the most hits *really*. In fact, it isn't close. There is a known issue with the Leafs home stats guys. Luke Schenn led the league

riiiight.

- Aetherial

Maybe the count the hits given AND received by Leafs players...

if i had my way (which i dont) I'd be contacting Mark Morris of the Manchester Monarchs
- Dozzer

He's been in the AHL for a while - I think he is 50+ perhaps 55?

**Daydreams of summer 2013**

Clarkson will easily get 4-5 million.
And he's worth every penny

- The Law

You never heard that from me.
I was against the Clarkson signing from the get go.

when we signed clarkson i was blown away by the $ amount combined with the years, but i figured he would be getting at least 20 goals and playing a hard physical game...sadly, none of this is true.

rickard wallin was better.

On the Leafs...

More talk about their desire to trade for O'Reilly and after last night's performance the clock appears to be ticking towards change. Nonis is always patient and hates to deal from a position of weakness and I was told that "right now all the bargain hunters are out to see if his frustration level means he could make a deal just to make a change." Nonis is from the same school as Brian Burke when it comes to this. You'd have a better chance making a trade when the Leafs are winning then when they are losing.

I hate to agree with MLSEL brass, but you can't bring fresh meat in to coach the Leafs. It would be cruel and unusual punishment.

You need a guy with a proven NHL track record.

Yeah because RC is an a$$.

This is a borderline playoff team and that's where they are.

- HipHopisDead

Exactly!

Eakins isnt the answer either.
Im not against firing Carlyle...but is only a part of the issue, he's not the entire issue.
As I posted earlier...40% of this team was around for the wilson collaspse and for the game collaspse. The 40% includes most of our core players.
Can they learn from it.....or just destined to repeat.....considering we are going on round 3?

I have no idea how qualified he is but I am going to jump on the Guy Boucher bandwagon.
