Mac plays on the top line, every PP and every PK, and makes everyone he plays with better. He works his ass off and is dominant. He always has the puck. He is on pace for 61 pts because he is being utilized to his potential. Blame your system, not the player. - Stringer74

I can easily see Franson, Kulimen and Raymond being moved.
And a lot more if this team continues its current trek south. - Atomic Wedgie
I would hope Nonis has the balls to fire RC before being forced to move these guys, which could be useful in the playoffs. |

i think they really turned a corner in the third period
Kadri and Franson have to go, they look like they couldn't care.
and why should they, the way they've been treated by this team
Carlyle looks like he's totally lost the room also |

Probably the same thing the SN and TSN panels did when they decreed he was the #1 UFA on Jul. 1.
I don't think I've seen a #1 UFA signing actually pan out since Chara in 2006. Just ask the Rangers what they think of Brad Richards. |

what would bug me most about the entire situation if i was a Leaf fan: Phil Kessel. everyone talks about the Leafs abominable work ethic/effort. yet here's a guy who just signed a $64 million contract. highest paid player on the team. last on the ice, first off the ice. and the organization just laughs and shrugs with a "Phil being Phil" attitude. you talk about poopty work ethic? start there. - DoubleDown
He has picked up that attitude.
It came after many nights though where he was just about a one-man show out there.
Honestly, I look a the garbage play and zero work ethic he is surrounded by and I can't blame him. He has never been the guy who would lead the team out of these kinds of problems and he isn't now.
... and it took him quite a while before he also started to mail it in.

Kulemin's probably gonna be gone.
If you want to do a line-up based on ice-time, it'll probably look like this:
JVR-Bozak-Kessel
D'Amigo-Bolland-Holland
Lupul-Kadri-Clarkson
Komarov-McClement-whatever goon they're obviously going to include. - Feeling Glucky?
That is a brutal 2nd line.
Bolland Clarkson Kulemin
Kadri Lupul Leivo
Clarkson is interchangeable. |

a guy who had a 30 goal season, was on pace for another one, who creates room, skates well, and stands up for his teammates.
I wonder if his season would have been different if he didn't miss the first 10 games. - Feeling Glucky?
