Just in general, and mostly for the Oilers fans for are acting like he's not a player re-habbing from injury and difficulties.

Yes, and shero as well as every pens fan will tell you it was a mistake. Shero has already stated he has no interest in any rentals. Hemsky would only add on to the injury list. Also who would you demote to the 3rd line? Dupuis?

Oh he's a complete bust! 19 years old and still not a point per game producer or at the very least a defensive marvel. I could handle the 'snails pace' of his development if he could at least show the occasional flash of talent. He sucks. We shouldn't have wasted the pick on him. If we took Murray all of our defensive problems would be fixed by now. Yak would have made a good 4th round pick at best!

Next year you will have Dupuis back so unless Hemsky completely lights it up over there, what would be the point of re-signing him? He would strictly be a rental.

In some situations. I was just making a point that as good as Letang is, I'm not sure he is a top 10 D in the league. He could be, if he had a good year and some top 10 stalwarts had off years. Definitely a no1 D man though, and really, there are only maybe 15-20 of them in the league.

Dupuis tore his ACL? Mcl? I don't remember but yeah I don't think he will be back anytime soon. And if Dubois gets demoted a line or two it probably isn't the end of the world.
