I'm a bit older school sXe then you are..

I grew up in the Philly/NJ/NY scene when it was awesome and populated by Shelter, Lifetime, Resurrection, Mouthpiece (Can We Win still makes me want to stage dive when I hear it), Turning Point, No Escape, Vision, Gorilla Biscuits , Judge, Supertouch (not really sXe but I still listen to them)..Going to shows at Middlesex County College..Seeing Turning Point, Burn, Encounter play at Revival. Hell I still have my Inside Out CD(Zack Dela Rocha from Rage Against the Machine earlier band)..I have my poison free XXX tattoo on my left leg and while I haven't called myself sXe in over a decade I still never have been drunk, smoked or done drugs.

One of the legendary bands in the scene Turning Point during their reunion show openly admitted they were doing the show for drug money oh and the lead singer dried of a drug over dose.

People\times\style changed in the scene...

It went from those bands above to Strife, Hatebreed, Integrity and other tough guy bands..So you got a bunch of kids showing up with their militant poses trying to act all badas$ with their bandannas pulled down over their eyes..Totally dumb and a waste of my time.

So now I reverted to metal origins and listen to Emperor, Opeth, Swallow the Sun and Novembers Doom so I can feel pleasant and happy all day.

Every time a forward has gone down, Rosehill has been the replacement. Not sure why this time will be any different.

What hc/sxe band didn't sing about , call themselves or use the word Unity/Solidarity/Friendship in a song or album title. It's a stable as much as being influenced by Minor Threat was!

I don't have an issue with any of that..I have an issue with the guys that would show up at City Gardens, Revival, Middlsex looking to just fight people or to fight people that didn't agree with them.

I got too old for that.. =)

How many days do you suppose it will take before you guys figure out that painting any group...regional, ethnic, national, racial... with a broad and pejorative brush is unacceptable.

Grow the heck up people. HOCKEY if you can't figure out how to be decent to one another. We have and encourage hockey fans from all points of the compass.

A lot of the people that come to fight get taken care of pretty quickly.
2 examples
Terror show: Skin heads show up to cause trouble. Lead singer stops playing and tells them to go the (frank) away.
Random festival: Some kid was just out to punch people. Big dude tackles him and throws him out.

We should all spend less time thinking about skin color, and more time thinking about skin thickness.
