i agree salary doesnt mean anything when determining their role. but his offensive production and his defensive play has clearly shown he is not a 1st liner. he is still young so he could obviously become one someday but it won't be in colorado and i highly doubt it will happen anywhere else. he just doesnt have the skillset to be a #1C, the avs of all people would know this or there wouldnt have been such a big issue with his contract.

No. OEL is well on his way to being an elite dman. Not in just one dimension. Overall. I like RoR. A lot. But he's not worth remotely close to OEL.
