What about the Buffalo Blizzards? I know it wasn't MLS but people wouldn't even go to those games with free tickets.

I remember when I was in grammar school, the school would give us the option of going on a field trip to a Blizzard game or get a day off. Most of us chose the day off.

Expect to receive a lot of banter due to that choice. Henry was one of the games best. I dont support any EPL teams, but I enjoy watching all of them. I was scared for my teams (Borussia Dortmund) Champions League group draw when Arsenal got Ozil on a transfer. But we made easy by topping the group.

I know I know..... But the other choices of the Blues with The Chosen One (douche), Suarez the biting people, or Man C/Man U I just can't do....

We'll take out Munich for you guys since you had trouble last time

2 big things that grind my gears for God knows why is soccer and vegans. The latter because generally they're a bunch of self righteous hippie punks. Also, I'm a Man-ivore. Soccer..I don't know. I mean I despise the sport at a major level because I simply think it's by far the most boring thing to watch in the universe (yes, even considering baseball), the scoring is low and the players are the wimpiest bunch of whiners on the planet. I will watch one game, and that's when America is playing in a substantial world tournament whatever playoff round.

This might be getting a little too on the political side, but it's no wonder that a sport like soccer is gaining popularity in an era where masculinity is being trivialized.
- buffalofan19

interesting.. one eats men and the other talks about masculinity being trivialized.. yet they seem to think they agree.. am i missing something?

I just love his style of in your face attacking football. Plus how animated he is on the sidelines.

Yikes, I go out of my way most times to avoid talking like that about the Sabres, I can't imagine doing so for a team on a different continent.

Yeah, what the (frank) was he doing though? I laughed so hard when I saw the replays.... Suarez has been unstoppable this year. Not having a team in the EPL, I want Arsenal or Liverpool to win. i like Brendan Rogers as a manager. Wenger can suck it with that ugly coat he always wears. Hes like the Belicheck of EPL except he doesnt win.

Yes, you are. The point is, even if you are effeminate, there are plenty of better uses of your time.

I don't have a team in the EPL either but I like a good cinderella story so I'm hoping for an everton miracle.

If the EPL title came down to a merseyside derby I will ecstatic.

Well said my friend. I struggle with this as part of me says this is bullcrap, but the other part of me wonders if Im on a path to being that old man who hates the world around him and refuses to accept change.

is it accepting change or having change forced upon you? depending upon where you are things are getting forced upon you and they are making those not willing to just go with it look like biggots and uninformed religious nuts.. but i don't want to go any further.

Being open to change and open to all change are two completely different things.

They still get a good crowd every game though. They fill that place almost as well as the Sabres do. 17,000 plus they still lead the league in attendance
