Highest average attendance was Seattle at just over 44,000.
Smallest NFL Stadium right now is Oakland's at just under 65,000.
50,000 if you want to include the University of Minnesota's stadium that the Vikings played in because the MetroDome was undergoing repairs.

The MLS doesn't completely fill NFL stadiums, and most likely never will. - buffalofan19
Seattle will. Probably next year. |

Football is the worlds #1 sport. Its a shame how the sport is regarded in American culture. Then again NA fan culture is poopty compared to the rest of the world so that doesnt surprise me.

Seattle Sounders FC 1 – 0 Portland Timbers 67,385 25 August 2013
67,385 for a game last year, average attendance for MLS is higher than the NHL
Major League Soccer Soccer 19 2012 18,807 +935
National Hockey League Ice hockey 30 2011-12 17,455 +323 - derekjd
Given the seating capacities between the two, if the MLS is beating its chest over those numbers, those are some laughably mediocre standards. |

YES! Some great story lines over the last few years. Ronaldo's return to old trafford and Drogba returning to Stamford Bridge in February.
Who is your team by the way? I think you already told me but I forget. |

Arsenal, was an easy choice after watching the Red Bulls and Thierry Henry.. I watch Champions too, hopefully get to see some CONCACAF Champions too now that the Bulls are in it and MSG should be airing their games... |

2 big things that grind my gears for God knows why is soccer and vegans. The latter because generally they're a bunch of self righteous hippie punks. Also, I'm a Man-ivore. Soccer..I don't know. I mean I despise the sport at a major level because I simply think it's by far the most boring thing to watch in the universe (yes, even considering baseball), the scoring is low and the players are the wimpiest bunch of whiners on the planet. I will watch one game, and that's when America is playing in a substantial world tournament whatever playoff round. - TheSabresTaco
Agreed on the soccer post. Your vegan post is about right too. Kind of like the same people that are straight edge but love to bash people who aren't. Hey I have no problem if you are straight edge and don't drink or smoke or whatever I can respect that you made that choice but down slam it down my throat about it.
Soccer is a very boring game to me as well. Not to mention that is where the Bruins go to work on their cough "penalty drawing" techniques. A sport where one guy will grab his opponents arm and hit himself in the face or do something like this is not something I could watch on a regular basis.

This might be getting a little too on the political side, but it's no wonder that a sport like soccer is gaining popularity in an era where masculinity is being trivialized.

Gotze yes. Lewandowski can (frank) off. We made him into the player he is, and hes done nothing but been an bumhole for years now. I would be half as mad as I am about the whole thing if he shut his mouth, played football and allowed us to sell him off outside the Bundesliga. But the fact that hes going to Bayern just irritates me. |

Wait you mean a stadium that could hold 3 times the amount of an average hockey arena draws better?? Shocking. Now do the research of percentage filled to capacity. |
