I don't think Miller should be considered. As good as he's playing we are 30th out of 30th.
- sbroads24

He won't be.

That being said, if he's willing to stick around, the need to pay out some salary for next year, makes even a Lundqvist type deal not look so bad anymore.

After all of the MFE discussions here the last few weeks you picked a good time to prove us believers right!!!

One does not need to see stats to prove the worthiness of MFE

Santa waits up at night to see if MFE really does exist.

You can order a Custom Ellis third jersey with a C.

Just a thought about Grigorenko, can he be loaned to a team in Europe, such as a KHL team? It might help his development more than a return to Quebec would.

i think im good with that. sure, we will be overpaying miller a bit, but we will have certainty in net for the next 5 years (i hope that the offer is no longer than that). enroth will probably be good with getting moved. not terribly interested in gagner, but it could free up a move of hodgson or ennis.
- rover16

Enroth, Stafford, Leino and Tallinder for Gagner.

Team wins and losses shouldnt factor in but lets be honest they do. For me he wont be in top 3 so put him 4-5 who cares cause there will be some guy on a winning team with a sub 2 ga
- hubie

Carey Price right now would be my #1. Bishop #2.

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 16h
Pending successful negotiation of contract with BUF, OTT assistant GM Tim Murray will be next GM of the Sabres.

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 15h
To be clear on BUF GM, while T Murray is last man standing, formal offer, negotiation, ownership approval etc all still remain to be done.

I'm assuming this is old news?

I'm in the middle on this one. I think they should matter in the sense that a goaltender's play should lead to more wins than losses. That being said, I don't think a goaltender needs to even be anywhere near winning his division to get consideration.

Bills suck so bad that 14 years is too soon. Classic.

Half of the hockeybuzz riff-raff wasn't even born 14 years ago.

When was the last time a goalie won the Stanley Cup when his team has the lowest goals per game avg in the league?

6th in Save % and way down the list for GAA. He's been great lately, had some stinkers to make up for early apparently.

As of now, I don't think he's in the consideration. But it is an Olympic year...

Not sure what the CHL rules are and all, but, I don't know if that would be a good idea. That makes me think of Radulov.

I was 19 when that happened. If you told me at that moment I will be almost 34 and the Bills still never would have played a playoff game and they are no closer to getting in one soon, I never ever ever ever ever would have believed you.

No research here just a guess but Brodeur comes to mind but he may have been beaten by Hasek

Radulov was actually contributing before he left, though. Grigorenko hasn't been.

St. Louis leads the team in points (duh), followed by these powerhouses:

Filpulla, Purcell, Killorn, Stamkos is 5th in 17 games (23 points), Hedman/Johnson tied for 6th

I'd think their defensive play/goaltending might just be key.

I think you misunderstood. The team in front of the goalie being the worst goal scoring team in the league.
