I have been saying for a long time that too many of the posters on this page have been "counting chickens." Some have even go so far as to presume the Sabres will pick on and two in the 2015 draft - because "they are so bad now."

There's a lot of hockey to play this season, still, forget about next season, and don't underestimate the desire of professional athletes and professional coaches to win now, tomorrow, and every time. There is no way any plans should be made on a presumption of where future draft picks will be made - there are just far too many variables.

While I agree with you it's safe to say we could very well be picking in the top three if things continue.

100% we're aren't as bad next year. Murray is going to want to look his best with his first prime time gig and he's not gonna want to tank for McDavid.

It's a shame because everyone needs to swallow their pride and draft this kid but hopefully we can at least get Reinhart for now because I see us back in our usual 8th/9th/10th spot next year.

Totally agree. It's way too early to speculate about next year's draft right now. And as someone else said, the Isles have been playing much better. The Sabres may be getting NY's first rounder this year.

I'm actually travelling to Paducah with a friend to record a podcast and we're taking a day trip to Nashville. We're video game geeks hence the visit to Game Galaxy - it's an old school arcade.

You are absolutely 100% correct I agree. Hopefully we end up with Reinhart and our best chances of McDavid fall on the shoulders of the Islanders. The only way they Islanders tank next season is if Vanek doesn't want to resign and they move him at the deadline.

Murray is going to attempt to make a splash hopefully via trade and a decent FA in the offseason after he makes his attempts to resign Miller Ott and Moulson. If that happens and addind 2 top 6 forwards and a full offseason with Nolan at the helm they are a borderline playoff team.

I used to love watching the Rush era Reds team. John Barnes, Ray Houghton, mother (frank)ing Peter Beardsley. The Fowler era was great too. I'm a United man but always loved Liverpool.

Man the Premier League used to be amazing, not like now.

They were almost unbeatable in the mid to late '80s. Fowler is another legend. I'm enjoying the Suarez era right now. Hope they can keep him. And just how can you be a United man and love Liverpool. It's just not right. Fergie wouldn't stand for it, but Moyes would probably let it slide.

I take everyone Honky Tonkin when they come down,.. I'm not even a fan of country music but it's fun. Most of my guests aren't into country music either and they love it.
Nashville is a fun place to visit and a nice place to live.

I was just a fan of the game back then dude, I mean I wanted MU to win but Liverpool, Notts Forest, Villa...they were all so much fun to watch back then. I can't even watch it now, either bores me to tears or makes me want to throw up.

Serie A was the same way, loved that shizzle.

I'm glad they're finally getting someone in here. I don't mind that they took their time and did their due diligence, but too much longer could have set this team back even further, IMO.
