Claude Giroux will be 26 on January 12th if I am doing this correctly.

Wow how time flies.

I guess that basically gives the team a 4-5 year window of prime years remaining?

With that back end so far off in development when compared to the forward core, things get interesting.

You've never had a girl be like "Before we do this, I have a scar on my inner thigh from…" Then the scar ends up being something you wouldn't have noticed unless she mentioned it.

Its not like he dies at age 30. He'll still be a good player. By then, guys like Schenn and Couturier will still be in their prime.

Simmonds, B. Schenn, Gustafsson, and 2 1sts for Pietrangelo and a 2nd. Discuss.

I really do enjoy seeing the Flyers beat the Canadiens. They're like the Yankees of the NHL.

No it was usually more like "don't worry, my husband won't be home for hours and besides he can't afford another parole violation". Ah, those were the good old days!

By then Coots, Laughton, BSchenn, and some others (including future draft picks) will be producing plenty. I'm not worried about that.

These 7:30 starts suck!

You may now return to the outrageous trade proposals, mindless female dogging, and the random choosing of scapegoats

In hindsight it may have been worth trading for Bouwmeester. St. Louis didn't give up much for him.

I was actually really high on Giordano around the time, and it looked like Feaster could be taken advantage of.

Sadly they made Mark the captain in Calgary. Don't see them moving him now.

BTW, I took Broduer last night and lost money in my fantasy league so the Flyers could win.

Tonight, I'm hoping the hockey gods reward my sacrifice... I took Mason.

I'll bet she has but that was probably in her college days.

Seriously thogh, can we stop doing hypothetical Shea Weber trade scenarios? Weber will never be a Flyer, ever.

At least they gave you a heads up and not "Was that my husbands feet going by the window?" from her basement apartment.

I think this duo would prove to be the most entertaining (or awkwardly entertaining) scenario to replace Sarge and Wheels:

Face it getting a top dman in a trade is tough. Cloning is the way to go. All we need is a few hair follicles, some North Korean scientists, some of Uncle Ed's cash and before long we've got Mark Howe, Desjardins and Pronger in the lineup!

But Carter and Nash had such good chemistry in Columbus.
