Haven't seen how he's playing down there, but he on the scoresheet a lot. Something he didn't do last year or the year before really. He's only 22 so maybe he's finally getting it. I didn't think he was that bad for the leafs this season, when Orr and Mclaren are your linemates, its kind of hard to do much.

I kind of get why they called up Carter, for his physical play, but not sure why they'd demote Holland?

yeah,,. he's young.. if we intend on holding him to that then they have to insist on it from kessel as well.. kessel is a leader on this team.. why will the young guys think its important to stay in shape when the star forward looks like the pilsbury doughboy?

its gotta start with the attitudes of the core players. it trickles down from there.

Thank god? lol guess you haven't been watching Holland play this year. I kind of get this move, as Toronto perhaps think he's being mis-used on the 4th line but perhaps he should be getting more playing time on the 3rd line over McClement, especially when they're down in games. Not a huge fan of Ashton.
