really? you've given up on Kadri already?

he played a great game last night.. one of the best players on the team

- Dozzer

I've given up on leafs management. RC's style of hockey doesn't work with this team weight 180 pounds soaking wet.

I dunno about you guys... but after watching 24/7 leafs hbo I noticed our grit player (Clarkson) has itty bitty arms. Gardiner needs to add some weight. Kadri, raymond.

I ADMIT.. The first few shifts I was very impressed with gleason.. Especially when he jumped up on the rush. Didn't pay any attention after that.

I was too mad at the (frank)ing brainfart goaler Bernier to pay attention to the game. His mental game seems way off from what a #1 goalie looks like.

I started work at 10 and still couldn't make it. Was yelling at people in line to let me by (stores right beside timmys).. But they have to have 20 people waiting for food and its ran by an asian who can't really speak english. I miss the one who always knew what I wanted and I just cut through and tossed the money.

Keep in mind, Bernier never played more than 25 games, spread over the course of a complete season.

He's played 31 so far. He may be having a tough time adjusting to playing so often.

not gonna get into the bernier debate today.. he has won the leafs more games they should of lost then he's lost for them.

carlyle is the problem, the transition sucks.. the dump n chase offense as the primary go to offense is absurd. the defense first approach is laughable.. they all just stand there while the opposition cycles the zone and waits for one of the guys to mess up and open up a hole.

Poor guy has faced a million shots so far, no goaltender in the world can maintain play like that...Play Reimer 5-6 games in a row facing 40-50 shots and the same thing will happen to him...
It's ridiculous to expect either of the goaltenders to stay on top of there game constantly having puck play in there end of the rink and having to stop 40 shots a night...

Bozie uses his noggin on the ice - he may be limited talent wise, but he's smart enough to figure out how he can contribute and be effective within each shift...plus, that line does start with the puck more often than without him. He'd be a very good 3rd line center on a Stanley cup competitive team.
- Woderwick

That's true... while he may not be as talented as many guys on the team, it seems to me that Bozak is by far the smartest guy out there.

So you have decided that mods can be in violation of the very code the rest of us are expected to uphold?

The real question about the Leafs is why have they deviated from what made them "successful" last season?

Last season the Leafs had WAY MORE grit. They were more physical, more aggressive on the PK and guys like McLaren, Orr and Fraser were laying beating downs on a nightly basis, ultimately making opponents hesitate and think twice, giving our offence more time and space to produce which also makes the goaltenders' job easier (builds confidence)... NONE OF THIS IS HAPPENING THIS SEASON... N-O-N-E!!!

This season opponents are happy to play against the Leafs because we have become soft and predictable. Nobody has to pay the price against us this season. Teams are pushing us around, neutralizing the production of guys like Kadri, Lupul and JvR, in fact the Leafs have become the ideal opponent to play if a team/player needs to snap out of a funk.

There is an energy that all teams feed upon when an aggressive, physical and "stand up for the man next to you" type game and NONE of that is happening this season.

Where the (frank) did that go?
