Pretty even trade really... But fans like the guys they know.
I'd much rather the Oil package Gagner and their 1st for a much more impactful player. - robin_steele264

I agree. They have relatively equal value, and it would be trading just to make a trade. Which would be pretty transparent. I, too, would rather package Kadri for a more impactful player, preferably a defenceman. If they trade him at all. |

Straight up...... Kadri for Gagner.
Yes or No? - faceto27
Kadri is a punk who deserves to get kicked in the nuts on a daily basis. but he's got 70-point potential as a centre. wouldn't trade that for a guy who, while a more complete player, looks like he will max out at 50. if you do that deal, you're giving up on Kadri. |

yes, but any such trade would rely upon Holland getting an extended, and successful, look at the 2c spot... |

good line of thinking
kadri is having a bad year yet he is still on pace for 50 points
if 50 points is an off year i'll take it |

He certainly screams of a less greasy, less coked-up Ribeiro...
Also, my phone wanted to change "Ribeiro" to "to be I do"... apparently I got the Jedi add-on when I updated my OS |

It's official. I'm done.
Been a fan since 1992.
Watched the highs and the lows. But the Leafs have drained me for the last time.
Carlyle preached the win and you're in philosophy to his goalies, and after allowing 5 goals on 32 shots, he went with Bernier again. A weak wrister from the point, not screened, a bad decision at the goal line, and a shot from outside the blue line, that was slightly tipped at the blue line, but still plenty of time for a professional goalie to adjust. Reimer would not have lasted past the second goal, Carlyle would've scrapped him.
This shows how poor Carlyle is at giving our young players confidence in themselves and their abilities. He's made Reimer his whipping boy and Bernier can do no wrong.
I'm done until Carlyle is out |

you have to start with the coach if you make any changes, a trade is not going to help much. We already got the Gleason . Wooooo!
Anyone we bring up, plug in a hole, swap lines with its the same results.. never have the puck, get outshot .. terrible ..GASP!!! Corsi
Keep adding "Carlyle" type players that suck Fraser, Clarkson, Gleason etc while moving out the Macs and grabs (Bolland was a good RC player pickup)..but I suspect he is good on any team
Nonis and the 2 other doofus's are failing bad |

We need to get him in with Gary on a permanent basis, and install an electric collar to give him a shock whenever he tries an unsuccessful no-look drop pass, or tries to skate through 3 guys by himself when other guys are wide open... |

1992...pffft. You don't have enough seniority to quit on the Leafs. You get back on the B&W train, keep quiet and accept this team for what they are and like it...lightweight. |

I hear what you are saying..its tough to think we are in this position again. i will continue to watch the train go off the tracks, I hoped after the Boston series we turned a corner, but that might have been the worst possible thing to happen.. we thought we had a team that could compete.
It was smoke and mirrors. Even when the leafs can get a lead, they play so bad (system or whatever) teams will eventually come back because they out chance us 3-1. No lead is safe with this team.
I was never a fan of a lot of RC moves like 3rd lining Grabo etc..
Surprisingly Bozak has been one of the bright spots... So we know things are bad
