This is honestly the worst Leafs team I've probably seen. The only thing keeping them out of the basement is their goaltending imo, though they've still been frustrating at times themselves.

It's not the worst.
As near as I can see though, this team is the stupidest. It is also one of the lowest work ethic teams I have seen.
People forgot how bad it got for Anaheim at the end of Carlyle's stay.
How Carlyle is keeping his job is beyond me. There is not a team in the entire league with worse fundamentals than the Leafs.
Next time they play, count how many times they have clear posession of the puck in their own zone, and fail to clear the zone. Honestly, it is shocking how bad they are. There is no way this is an issue with "skill".

I feel as though if the Leafs had the goaltending they got in 09-10 they'd be in dead last right now. I mean Buffalo outplays this (frank)ing team head to head. It's madness. |

Goaltending the only reason they have been able to hang on to playoff spot and now thats started to fall apart..

Bernier/Reimer it wont make a difference at this point..It's a bad team.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case.
I feel as though if the Leafs had the goaltending they got in 09-10 they'd be in dead last right now. I mean Buffalo outplays this (frank)ing team head to head. It's madness.

The Leafs would have given up 170+ goals by this point of the season if their goalies had a combined .892 SV% like they did in 09-10.
