Shhhhh there's already too much nonsense here, you don't have to add to it - Fakepartofme
Yeah, it's surprising that anyone is still backing Bernier - LA knew what they were doing with Bernier. |

the frustrating part is that its been almost a decade and this team hasn't improved at all. I'll be surprised if they make the playoffs. - daeth
Uh, it was a 29th place team not long ago, now we're middle of the pack, last season we were 9th out of 30 with an asterisk. It's not that bad. |

GM Lombardi in LA said he regretted trading Bernier because he believe the goalie would be a star wherever he went. - Jurco_28
And like any star, it looks as though he has now imploded to create a black hole... |

The same ".500 team" made the playoffs last year under Reimer.
When Reimer gets into a rhythm, he is every bit as good as Bernier and actually plays better than .500 hockey. Reimer has had better win% behind worse groups than this.
As I said earlier, Bernier looks worse the longer he plays. Reimer tightens up his game with starts and shots. - Leeman4Gilmour
Big deal, in a shorten season they made the playoffs. Let's see what happens over a full season.
Up until tonight, bernier had better stats. There's a reason no one is predicting reimer to be a star. |

I better go to bed before I get a ban. This team has the talent to compete but just doesn't want to. I don't blame the coach, but blame the do nothing GM. Do you think that Burke would have put up with this? Time for a spelling test. I wonder if any of the Leafs can spell the word "intensity".
Fukc, fukc, fukc! - PrinceLH
I blame the coach.
It's been said that RC loses his dressing room quickly (all coaches eventually do)....
I don't think RC is well liked...wouldn't be surprised if Leafs do much better as soon as RC is canned (PLEASE!!??)

If Carlyle were being fair, he'd give Reimer a 4-5 game stretch to work out the rust and settle in.
Bernier gets game after game, regardless of outcome. I'm okay with that. I want to see what these guys can do playing like starters.
But fair is fair. Reimer gets just as long of a leash. |

Or maybe not... when Reimer was stealing game 5 and 6 in the playoffs last year, Bernier was opening the bench door and passing out gatorade... |

Wait, so the 2 that went by Reimer are worse than the 5 Bernier let in? I'm just trying to ascertain how much of a Bernier homer you are here... |

The problem is leaf fans automatically think LA got fleeced. But Lombardi is a cup producing GM, the leafs fired theirs. |
