Bernier is proving he was right where he should have been in LA - on the bench as a backup. Reimer has proved he is a legit NHL starter.
Not complicated.

at least we have a better goalie in net for the last minute here.

No, they have a team full of Olympians and past Olympians. Seriously, enough with the Phaneuf poop, he's not the issue either. Forwards like Raymond wussyfooting around the ice, just a general lack of intensity is the issue from the forwards and d-men.

Not a Dion fan at all, but he is the least of the Leaf's problems. There is almost no help from the forwards. Defense is a 5 man game these days.

Bernier is better at rebounds... Reimer is better at keeping the puck out of the net....
- SofaKingBored

Unless you shoot the puck at him. Bernier will be the number 1 for the future. Get over it and accept it.
Also, accept this...... This team is a .500 - .600 club.... No heart, no leadership, bad contracts and bad systems. The d is bad, we have an overpaid decent dman who played out of position, as is most of our d.

This team needs some major changes.

Bernier loses 2 straight games for the Leafs...

Probably more RC's fault then Bernier.

You're not getting the Bernier highlight reel save tonight, friend... even letting in softies and racking up losses, he's usually good for a nice save... not tonight...

Could be worse.

I live in Edmonton, so I always have a constant reminder of how bad it could be

5 stinkers in 2 nights.

Bernier is just bringing his "one softie per game" average back up to where it belongs.

Goaltending the only reason this team has been able to hang on to playoff spot so long as they have...

It's a bad team..
