You're suggesting a loss equals a bad game... and it doesn't... many times the Leafs lost and it was Reimer that kept them close or in it... he deserved some wins that he didn't get because of the team... he definitely doesn't have 2 good games followed by a stinker... that's completely unrealistic and unfair... that's pure Reimer hating... - SofaKingBored
You are completely correct. |

Time for a shakeup trade. Sure Bernier has been soft tonight, but we've only scored two goals, on a minor league goalie, on a team with a porous defense. Someone off of the top 2 lines needs to be moved, just to shake up the entitlement comforts, in the Leafs dressing room. |

and saying bernier is any worse is the same thing
both guys are average starters at best
i will never again belive in reimer.. not after last years playoffs
make all the excuses you want... but a championship calibre goalie bails their team out when they poop the bed in the playoffs.

This team could probably use Frattin and a second right now, more than Bernier and a goalie controversy. |

I want Bernier to keep playing. So far he isn't a number one especially if after 3 games he starts letting in bad goals. Reimer has played many games in a row and been consistent. Lets see what Bernier really is. - aminnes
i think you are seeing it |
|
|
|
he had 19 wins and i think 9 losses last year
thats 2 to 1
either way, neither goalie has proven to be a legit go to guy - Dozzer
On LA!
See Scrivens....
Reimer on LA would probably be assigned to Team Canada right now. |

Kanes always been unreal. Softest mitts in the league, unreal skill...and so much swagger. |

Bruce you remember Osgood? He went on to win a few cups. Don't write off 25 year olds in this league.
And as for bernier, same goes for him. Both have won a games for this team that this team had no business winning. THe goalies aren't the issue. |

No, it's pure Bernier loving, because he was a first rounder and if he isn't better the trade was pointless and maybe the management isn't that good.

You do realize that Hasek, Roy and Brodeur all lost in the playoffs... several times... Reimer takes them to game 7, the team collectively folds in the third period and he's not shunned forever... gotcha...
Pure Reimer hate... no sense debating it because an open mind, you don't have...
Back to our regularly scheduled Phaneuf sucks talk then...
