Kevin Lowe probably pushed for him.

He doesn't know what year it is.

Exactly, get your stick out of the way Dion, or god for bid, try blocking a shot you 7 mil. (frank) head.
- sloppyseconds2

Danny Markov. God bless that Russian bastard. If the owner/GM/head coach of a team doesn't demand and/or require every player no matter the pay scale, to throw themselves in front of a shot, then that team won't be worth poop. It's the fundamentals that are missing.

Sarcasm. That was savable, tipped or not.
That being said, you have a point. I think Phaneuf has scored more goals on his own net this year than the opponents.

Bernier is off his game right now. If Reimer is not in Thurs vs the Canes, than RC is REALLY fukked in the head.

- GCHonda

I want Bernier to keep playing. So far he isn't a number one especially if after 3 games he starts letting in bad goals. Reimer has played many games in a row and been consistent. Lets see what Bernier really is.

Thorton did have Kane on his wing. That had to help a bit.
- Elbows15

Only for the Spengler, Kane played for Biel before that...Nash and Jumbo were on a line though

at least there wasnt a rebound for the isles forecheckers to pounce on.
- Rockhead_37

Yeah... screw rebounds... just let them sail in for a goal... looks better on the rebound stats... Reimer giving out a rebound means he at least made the save...

It's the law of averages, guys.

Bernier is good for one softie per game. He went a couple without allowing any, so now he's got to even it out.

I see way too much Raycroft in Bernier.

A good, young talent who was ultimately a .500 goalie because of brain cramps.

- Leeman4Gilmour

Agreed.

His story is Toskala though, southern teams goalie, apart of strong duo, huge hype train and on the block for over a year.

Even has the full ice goal.

Actually tonight Bernier is playing like the Monster when he was here, very scrambly & unsettled. His inability to be consistent over a long stretch of games is very worrisome. Some nights he looks like the 2nd coming of Brodeur, than other nights........not so much.

First year playing lots of games they ll be a learning curve. We have two good goalies no need to freak out.
