Bernie woulda been better off taking a penalty and jumping on that.

Monumental brain cramp there

Trade Reimer, make Bernier the undisputed starter, and what happens on a night like tonight?

A guy can go from saviour to Raycroft in no time in the Toronto sports media.

Bernier is such a great puck handler eh? OMG....

It's not even funny... that's NOT a goal with Reimer in net....

Brutal

cause reimer doesnt get to play... if he was still getting regualr duty...he'd still be the better goalie.

but i agree.

well maybe not anymore.

I'm gonna avoid any and all pro bernier arguments right now if you don't mind

So here it is. Reims let in 1 arguably 2 against detroit and was pulled 3-1. so if this gos 3-1 will Bernier get pulled after 2 crap goals?

the problem i have with this is just because phaneuf looks great in comparison to an otherwise terrible D doesnt necessarily make him a great d-man

its flawed logic

its like saying a grand prix is a high end sports car when its parked beside a bunch of dodge neons.

just because the d corps around him are so bloody bad it makes him look that much better doesnt mean he is actually that much better.

i know im late to this comment but...

PK Subban will be the ferrari come contract time, and anyone of the same ilk will follow suit. Pk will get max money when he signs, which will make Dions money look like he's paid like a #2.
Dion just happens to be one of the few players to sign since the lockout, and on a team that is desperate for his services.

So maybe, dion is bmw, around a bunch of neons, would be more of a realistic statement. And within 2 years, the pay scale will dicate the same.

They are using Reimer to ease Bernier into the starting role as proven by not giving Berns more than 4 in a row until now.

Bring back the hot seat we had at the start of the year, you know, when we were leading the league in SV%.

That's all I want: Bernier sucked against the Rangers; start Reimer tonight and vice-versa.

Bernier's frequent brain cramps remind me of Patrick Lalime....that scares the hell out of me.

confused with the Bernier start tonight.
Has this already been discussed?

Carlyle has made it clear all season how he has felt about bern, and has clearly picked his number one in the last few weeks.

Sticking with a TML fan logic, maybe Reimer did/said something to start a fued with carlyle. Maybe Carlyle is an atheist??
