Now the team's second best offensive catalyst is nursing a sore shoulder or something. Yep, lookin' guuud...

If we win, it's gonna be 2-1... 4-3... with the 21 shots per game we've been getting lately and the quality of our shooters (actually shooting over 9% somehow)... it's statistically improbable we get three, let alone four.

Clowe has played well since his return. Most of those goals he couldn't do anything on either. Gelinas to Ryder and gets immediately turned over and into the net. Bad pass by Henrique on a breakout that leads to a terribly played 3 on 3 rush the other way. Aggressive pinch by Merrill at the end of the game that lead to a breakaway. Not to mention this was the hawks, we could play them 100 times and we might not win once.

The bigger issue is that we took out one of our top scorers and replaced him with a player that is equally effective with a stick in his hands as he is without.

I think Clowe needs a bit more time before judging his play too much. He is coming off a long layoff so I'll reserve judgement for a bit. I really hope Elias isn't out for long term because we are screwed if he is out. Really hurts our playoff chances significantly.
