No accountability with the media anymore. It's even worse in Buffalo, and I am just talking about the "sports reporting". The Buffalo News is full of a bunch of whiners and people that hold grudges. I can't believe its possible but Harrington has dethroned Sullivan as my most hated sports reporter from Buffalo.

One newspaper town. There's no reason to be accountable.

Correct it did not count, I believe it was thrown out. Thats how i remember it as well, people who took the SAT prep course in my school did better than us "dumb dumbs"

Side note my SAT prep course, we convinced my teacher to take a group walk to the local deli that was 2 mintes down the road. It was an "interesting" class

A lot of those tests aren't so much about what you know. It's more about "can you figure out how the test writers think?". Hence, the term "good test-takers".

Who cares.
- sambarugh

Well....off the top of my head I can only assume that since I asked the question that I care

Just a simple opinion question. Before you try to bring up its merits, consider that this thread is constantly littered with far worse topics than this one.

I have to disagree. People spend so much time trying to think one step ahead they miss the move right in front of them. That's not to say that such tests don't exist just that I wouldn't say "a lot of them" are like that.

who has easier time off?
- hubie

Military?

30 days of leave a year, plus every holiday off and 4 day weekends just for the hell of it...

That is what I used to get.

I just want to have a nice conversation! And avoid looking like an idiot and customizing a jersey that technically wouldn't exist

I would say some of the time yes, but this was just a case of the wrong material being taught to everyone in the state.

The SAT down here in the US is a lot like that. We're talking about standardized tests, not college or high school course tests written by teachers.

I was talking about standardized testing as well. I took three of those and for the most part they focus on aptitude and developed reasoning. Again that's not to say that you don't have to approach certain sections the way you were referring to them, just that it's not as much of trick test as most seem to believe.

Lookss like Murray is a scouting guy which will boad well for the bevy of picks we have. I wouldnt hate this hirign as he seems to be pretty well regarded.
- hubie

Divine has done just fine with scouting since Pegula $$$ went into effect.

Grigroenko (although circumstance of a fall), Girgensons, McCabe, Ullmark, Ristolainen, Zadarov, Compher, Hurley, Bailey, Baptiste, Possler.... These guys would easily be top 5 prospects on any team.

The good news is, when his contract is up after next year, and he hits RFA status, it shouldn't be too expensive to re-sign him (assuming he doesn't absolutely explode).

I bought a storage locker 3 weeks ago. There was 3 paternity tests all taken one after the other.
None were the father.
3 Happy men.

I used a lot of bleach on that locker
