Was just glossing over the Czech team...

Former flyers 4th round pick Jakub Kovar (G) made the team, that brought me back. Completely had forgotten about him. Looks to have made a nice career in europe had a very good season for a KHL team i've never heard of , good for him a guess.

Probably best his Flyers Career never panned out, having to Jakub's would've been too much to deal with

Projected roster for SVK at upcoming Olympics. The team that nearly pushed Canada to the brink in the semi finals back in 2010, tries to defy the odds again.

Gaborik-Handzus-Marian Hossa
Tatar-Dano-Satan
Marcel Hossa-Kopecky-Panik
Radivojevic-Cibak-Bliznak

Chara-Meszaros
Sekera-Visnovsky
Jurcina-Granak/Stajnoch/Sersen

Halak/Budaj

Satan is still playing?

Rad sighting

The C's are a pretty weak spot. Sweet Uni's though.

Could be worse, they could've gone the US or Canada way and incorporate a sponsors shape as their logo

I'd like to see if they can bring him over after his season.
- ob18

I'd rather him play one more season in the SEL. He still has some flaws to iron out against the pros. Let him work on them in the SEL and then come over and get that ELC kicking!

It will look more complete with a gold medal hanging in the middle.

Do not worry young padawan.

That is also an option, I suggested him coming over to play in the smaller rink while still working on his flaws.

The only reason I'd say to let him stay is that his ELC won't kick in until he comes over (assuming he signs, which I don't think he has, yet).

I can't believe we're paying that bumhole Claude Giroux over $8mm starting next year. He's a fraud

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle 22m

Things that are slightly surprising: Highest scoring Canadian last three years is Claude Giroux. Then Stamkos, Tavares, St. Louis, Thornton.

The other option is to bring him over and find a OHL, QMJHL, or WHL team to keep an ELC on a slide. As long as that team has an open spot for an import.

He turns 19 next month but he can get 1 junior season in.

Oh man... this 2$ fantasy hockey drafts are fun!

I finally care about other teams again. What I've noticed tonight...

Dallas sucks with all the injuries on defense.
Calgary is a joke.
Columbus likes to give away points.
The Rangers have a bad mix of players.

definitely. wouldnt wish that kind of crap on any player for any team. it sucks when you think about the sheer amount of numbers hes already lost.

I'll yell "Crosby Sucks" with the best of them at the game, but the game, itself, is better when he's playing.

When Lindros was going through it, we didn't know anything about concussions and looking back, it's embarrassing how some fans (myself included) acted when Lindros was going through that. As sports fans, we really didn't have any experience with it.

Now, after witnessing so much damage in multiple sports with head injuries, it's crazy to think there is still so much doctors don't know about that area.

crosby sucks is one thing. thats just innocent cheering against an opponent. im sure i had no problems yelling at pronger when he was doing his thing in the orange and black either. but to hear stories about how the quality of life he leads. thats awful just from a human element. by all accounts crosby never seemed to be that bad, but still. when you look back through his career those are numbers and seasons he'll never get back.

it is crazy to think just how little we know about the brain. its scary in some ways, but just fascinating in others. for all we know on this world, the very thing that makes us capable to know so much in the first place we know so little about.
