Gleason is a weird trade still. He's just so bad nowadays. But he can replace Ranger or Fraser on the 3rd pairing. Still at $4M he needs to get it together to be back in the top 4.

I dont see it as weird at all. Two struggling, veteran, overpaid defenseman got traded for each other in the hopes that they will find their game.

A couple plays looked as if they could have saved the puck at the line but didn't bother skating hard enough to even get there

yup. That was probably worst pp ever seen. try 1-on-4 zone entry.....and terrible movement when they did get into the zone.

Carcillo = Kaletta

We should have swapped them Colton Orr for that 7th rounder. He doesn't fight anymore and he thinks that he's a valuable forechecker. Time to offload him and Fraser, since they haven't done much this year. There's 2 million dollars taking up space on our cap.
