Not useless in context.
Couple it with quality of opponent, TOI, goals allowed, etc. and it's pretty damn revealing. Also, compare it to the team average to see the true value of a player's contributions. |

"Top flight defenseman" should produce on both sides of the puck. Dion isnt producing the offense to be considered a top flight guy this year. Defensively he is much improved.

Bernier had one very weak goal. Moore's second goal was questionable, but I see that going in on Reimer as well. Reimer has never been great with pucks over his shoulders.
