I dont know if your trolling, but youre the one person I thought would embrace that decision.

Not trolling at all , No upside in that move for Buffalo.

I was at the game and missed the Myers head shot. Anyone get a good look at it ?

If we get Reinhart though, I think more fans will embrace the "process". I think people felt screwed over with Darcy
- sbroads24

We're going to get at least 3 top-end talents in the next two drafts
Whichever pick the NYI gives us, plus our two
Combine that with an already nice young defensive corps, and a pretty solid supporting cast of young forwards...
I think we're setting up to be a good team for quite a while
And most of that was Darcy's doing
Not that he didn't F up too...
But our "rebuild" is shaping up about as nicely as anyone could really hope for

As long as we figure out the goalie spot,
I think the future looks pretty good

Shoulder to head, not really that bad, just unfortunate.

True if he gets a time out from Shanny then there is not excuse for all the high hits from Chara. That hit was a product of height not intent.

I think he gets a few to be honest. Looked like he left his feet

He seems to have a history with Zubrus as well. It's kind of ironic

Yea I was laughing about that, nearly identical plays too. Right at the blue line, both at home.

It happened really quickly and was on the other side of the ice from where I was. I couldn't get a good look at it and they never showed a replay. I didn't like the webber hit either...

He did get Zubrus off his game and he took Myers into the net that resulted in the gwg on the pp

Dags' first goal is a GWG.

haha, I just looked since I didn't see anything but the 3rd period, so I looked at the box score on yahoo to see who scored the first goal. Anyways, what's funny is they have Weber as the 3rd star.

Was that the case at the game, or I wonder if different entities choose their own.

Yea Weber looked like he stuck his leg out. It's possible they both get looked at

The Weber hit looked questionable at first but looks like he caught him shoulder to chest

My brother is a scout for a team out west. Inside information.

Sabres won tonight. Whoo! As soon as I saw ott, d'agastini, and omark on the PP. I turned the tv off.

I wouldnt be surprised if they trade ennis for cal clutterbuck.

- alexthegr8

I know about Clutterbuck a bit, but I don't know enough to say yeah, that would be a great trade. I'm not a huge Ennis fan, I like his hands but he gets bumped off the puck too easily and I'm not sure he's going to produce much more than he is now.

Trade Ott for a 1st and Briere, then trade Ennis for Clutterbuck. He takes Ott's place and Briere replaces the offense of Ennis until the prospects (Armia, Girgs, Grigs etc) start taking over the team.

Hasn't Briere been playing on mostly the 4th line?
I would think they'd just take a mid-late round pick, maybe a 4th?
I'm sure they'd like to get rid of him for extra cap room to bring someone else in

And that's why the Sabres should get a 1st along with Briere if the rumors are true and the Habs want Ott.

Briere did get 2 goals and an assist tonight. I can't remember the last time Ennis scored 2 goals and got an assist in a game.

Probably one of the few teams we have a chance to actually beat So it is actually good to beat them, don't quite hate them as much as some other teams, although Jagr is on there, so screw them!

I think this team is going to be a force in 2-3 years.
