There is no way that isn't coming up. But Pat is a smart guy and he's going to have a good barometer on if that's affecting talks. I don't think he is going to get selfish and force his ideas on people and not put the franchise first. I hope anyways.

I can't believe dumba went 6th overall, he's got to be the most overrated player on team canada.

The issue of the coach being even requested to stay by Lafontaine could hurt them finding the best candidate, that's an example of micro-managing right off the bat. Could be a huge turn off.

This is all speculation that its even a sticking point for LaFontaine and Pegula
