You guys don't get it and refuse to understand it . There is a code . But because of the instigator rule . The code cannot be enforced . And more players are getting hurt . Players do not think about the ramifications of their actions . They all make great money and a few games off does not scare them .

Sorry to say this . I know it is frowned on . But did you ever play the game at any level ? Tried to explain to you . Maybe you need to poll players in the NHL to get their feelings . Add in all the other teams that were too slow and couldn't keep up to the list above.
The teams that complained because they were out of it before the all star break.

Back then, if you were not a talented enough team that played hard, you were toast, and early.

Now they want all the teams to have a chance with a couple of weeks to go in the season while making the game a hard to watch, wall hockey bore as a result.
