This guy called the Brad Boyes trade and the Vanek deal so he has SOME credibility. If true then Ott to the Habs for a 1st and Briere or at least he is gone by the deadline.

Who cares we are gunning for a chance at McDavid...I think they'll take on Briere and sign a bunch of 3rd 4th line FA's to get to the floor, maybe try real hard to sign Miller but when Moulson and Ott are dealt, I doubt he will want to stick around.

It will be at least a very interesting Spring. Three big trades and a new GM. Somthing has to keep our interest because the games sure don't.

Goals Against per 60 minutes played when the player is off the ice? 2.00. When John Scott is on the bench in a full game, we give up the least amount of goals than for any other player.

Shots for per 60 minutes played when the player is off the ice? Only Linus Omark and Luke Adam are ahead of John Scott, albeit both have a very small sample size. That means when John Scott is on the bench, we generate more shots than when hes on the ice.

I would understand that argument if youre still talking about old time hockey.

Wake up, its 2014. Teams are getting away from the traditional lets field a 4th line of goons and fighters.... the good teams want a 4th line of players that can shoot, handle the puck and be responsible at both ends of the ice. Nothing John Scott is good at.

I think its pretty clear that you think of hockey, the game, in a traditional sense. "Oh the 4th line should be full of poopty players because thats what a 4th line should be".... You're decades behind.
