You should watch the games to . 4th Line has been our best possession line at times !
- Maximum Signal

That just a lie. Is it a coincidence that the opponents when they get a chance put out their best players to face the line Scott is on.

Teams are not scared of him because they are protected from him and can skate circles around him.

How many times do you see a pass to John Scott bounce off of his stick and it's a tunrover.

Just sharing:
@The_Creasy: #Habs Daniel Briere willing to waive NTC to join the #Sabres. However, he HAS NOT yet been asked officially.

There are bigger fish to fry than Big John Scott. The guy is useful due to his size and ability to keep other's from running Miller and our abundance of skilled players (sarc). He has been playing solid 4th line minutes. I don't get the hate for the guy on this garbage team. He's someone who is somewhat interesting to watch due to his hits, fights and effort.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the forward/scoring type player. I just don't think that drafting a defenseman top 10 is as taboo as, say, drafting a guard is in the NFL.
- buffalofan19

D men are just way too much of a crap shoot.

would you rather have
victor hedman or matt duchene?

I'm going to go on a whim and not fault John Scott for that. The player that actually thinks it's a good idea to pass the puck to John Scott assumes full liability for his poor judgment.

Thought the argue meant was not taking a dman top ten?

Johnson and Jay Bo were taken top 3. Matters not how many times they get traded, they were both taken where you would've taken a forward.

He doesnt hit often though
No one fights him.

I would rather watch rotaiting guys of Armia/Grigorenko/Larsson play than John Scott.

To be fair, Hedman went higher than Duchene because of the team that picked him. Had Tampa not been there he would have dropped.
