I honestly would, and then I would kick myself for doing so. My heart would force me to do it. Then my head would scream at me.

A huge problem with Leafs Nation of the last 30 years is we fall in love with guys who work hard - even if they don't contribute much to winning.

Kulemin is a fitness freak - every year, he wins every strength at fitness test at training camp. He works hard. He never complains.

But he just isn't as good as Leafs Nation thinks he is. He had one good season.

We already have enough 3rd liners. And we need to make some space so young guys can aspire to the big club.

If he wants to go $2 milly or less, and play on the fourth line (I'd like to have one less goon on the roster, but Nonis and Carlyle don't agree with me), I'd do it.

But honestly, it's time we moved on from Kulemin.

I had heard the deal was done for M. Richards but then at the last minute the Kings came in with B. Schenn and Philly went with that offer.

I'm a leaf fan and all but it seems silly when these players making millions have a simple fine to pay.

Honestly. Do you not think the struggling Islanders would have to think about a trade of Kadri, Gardiner and Reimer for Tavares. The Leafs can add a 2014 1st round pick and 2015 2nd round pick to replace the picks the sent to Buffalo for Vanek.
