Seriously though, who complains that it's only 23.5 degrees ? - golfingsince
i know the system, it has a temperature that you program it to on the wall unit, just cause it says 23, doesn't mean it is
i had mine at 23 last night, it turned of at about 1 in the morning cause it froze.
didn't come back on till about 9 am when the sun was shining on it |

So everyone's up in arms about Burke comments and how rude they are. Oddly enough he says the same thing we say constantly. Just because his were public I don't think we are in a position to act all offended over it. - Yeti1181
Burke list had Ryan on it. the outrage is overblown |

usa hockey already said they will not allow access again.
they were given that access specifically to show the behind the scenes of the selection and then when it comes out they are shocked a horrified? seems this one is on usa hockey for not editing/approving before hand. and now we'll lose the inside access? |

I'm surprised Lupul only got fined. It was the correct call but I thought a 1 game suspension was guaranteed. |

Komorov u moron, if ya didn't leave in the first place, Nonis wouldn't have made the huge exspensive blunder by signing Clarkson. |

i don't know, the unit outside is like a central air unit and it feeds intake and exhaust freon tubes to a unit that hangs on the wall inside. which is the condenser evaporator
the thermostat is in the unit on the wall and it's operated remotely
the only connection is electrical
i hooked the whole thing up, but i had an electrician connect it to the panel
its 220 amp
i was told that it reverses the freon to create heat - bobbyisno1
Condenser is always outside, evaporator is inside, never heard of a reverse system, likely the unit provides heat via electric grid like a regular baseboard heater.
Good thing you called an electrician, because its 220 volts, not amps,
Not trying to be an ass, but, large condo units and apartment buildings use a boiler system that is a heat transfer pump. Air is never used as a heat or cooling source,
Buildings like that are temperature controlled through water being pumped through pipes and radiant wall heat transfer rads. The water can be heated via gas or oil boiler and circulated throughout the building. Cooling is achieved by water passing through a huge evaporator and circulated through the building, Your thermostat controls the temperature by restricting the flow of hot or cold water to your radiators via flow control valves.
Hope this clears this up. |

nope, i have two of them, new condos now have separate systems in each housing unit, that way the electrical bill is for that unit only

Watched Grease on TV tonight, best movie musical ever. I remember watching it at the theater in 1978. That shoould prove to Mr Peanut that I was 10 in 1978, since he's so obsessed with everyone'e ages.

Well the Leafs lost ALOT of feistyness & toughness when Komorov left. I think it was a combo of the Leafs game 7 collapse & Komo leaving that backed Nonis into a corner. So when the Clarkson was a UFA, Nonis felt he had no choice. |

Sorry buddy, but that looks like a single room unit, not capable of servicing a 2000 square foot condo.
And it provides heat with electricity, not a reverse A/C process.
