Boucher is showing in his young career that he knows how and when to get to the good scoring areas. Burying the puck will come soon enough with a shot like his. He still seems a bit rushed with his decision making a few times he could of carried the puck in an extre 3-5 feet before shooting instead of shooting from so far out but still good on him throwing pucks on net.

Hopefully he keeps getting a little faster and a little stronger each season. If he improves on those he'll be able to get a lot more chances.

Sharp is a pretty good hockey player.

Hawks are a damn good team. They are so hard to defend. You give them space they'll skate right through you, try to shrink the ice and they'll hit the stretch pass to break it.

If we play like we did tonight against most teams you will walk away with a W. Thought we played well and gave a good effort , can't be upset with this loss.

If we play like we did tonight tomorrow night then we should beat Buffalo easily and Schneider will be in net also.

Do any of you guys put any stock in trade rumors involving Marty? I just have a hard time imagining a scenario in which we move him. Just from a loyalty and family perspective. We gave Hedberg a job as a scout after he played for us for two years lol Lou eats, sleeps, and breathes building a family organization.

Langenbrunner was different, he clearly didn't agree with his role or direction of the team. Like him personally or not, Marty's demeanor has never really changed.

I put zero stock into it. I'll believe Marty is getting traded when it's official and not even think about it before than. Just do not see Lou ever doing it no matter what. If he didn't trade Clarky last year there is no chance Marty is traded unless he asks for it which would be surprising to say the least.

I would say unlikely but surprising ? I don't know he seems to want to be the starter pretty bad and that usually means you want a cup. How badly is another story but being as close as he came in 2012 I think he would really want to go out on top just as a nice finishing touch to his legendary career and I said in another post that if he wanted to win another cup the Hawks would be a team I would be more then ok with him going to win a cup, It would be better then him helping a rival like the Pens or Caps and I still think the Hawks have the best shot at the cup ! I mean 3 cups is great but 4 cups is just awesome

Yeah a guy who has consistently taken less money to stay here wants to leave for a shot at a cup...I just don't see it happening and the hawks have Crawford and Raanta why would they waste trading aways youthful assets for Marty? Insurance policy i guess but they wouldn't want to give up much and unless Marty is hell bent on playing in the playoffs this year I'd say the chances are about .001% of it happening. I'm starting to think he isn't going to retire and it will cause problems for us.

Thats what I mean though. I think that's exactly what he will do as well so say Marty how about those Hawks ? Got a pretty good shot at a cup they have some interest in you sell him on it if he isn't ok then he goes there hopefully wins a cup we get a little something in return for it Marty gets to go out on top and he doesn't come back trying to be a starter again next season But I can see why he would get so offended by not getting starts if he didn't want to win another cup or try to help another team win a cup. Also So Rantaa has some good stats but so did Emery when he was there imagine what Marty's would be like behind those guys. I know all most all of you don't like the idea or don't want to believe it's possible but he could want another cup bad he isn't going to say anything and hell he already kind of did when he hinted to the idea earlier in the season. If he didn't want another cup then why is he battling Cory so hard for the number 1 spot and not that he hasn't earned is fair share but then don't complain when Cory starts to steal some games from you thats what tells me he still wants it bad.

You are making this poop up. He never complains about anything team related. Of course he wants another cup he wouldn't be playing in the NHL anymore if he didn't But he wants that cup in the same place he has played for the last 20 years. You do not take less money basically every year you are a free agent or about to be just to leave a franchise to play back up for a cup run....Maybe if he never won before but he has won 3x. Pretty sure Marty gave Cory the #1 early and he couldn't seize the opportunity than. Since then Marty has been much better and Pete's screwed Cory over a few times. For real dude your making Marty out to be a whiny Richard with comments like that? Why is this? He is the polar opposite of the guy your describing here. Also if Marty really really really wanted a cup, Why the (frank) would he resign here to begin with?
He doesn't owe the franchise poop no reason for him to still be here other than he (frank)ing loves it here.

The second line of Ryane Clowe, Adam Henrique and Michael Ryder, which accounted for both goals in the Devils’ 2-1 win over Pittsburgh Tuesday, had a rough night, being on the ice for four of the Blackhawks five goals.

The top line of Dainius Zubrus, Travis Zajac and Jaromir Jagr has fizzled a little of late and generated only three shots on goal tonight – one for each player. Jagr, who has played so well all season, has no goals and one assist in is last five games. Zajac has one goal and no assists and Zubrus has no points over that same span.

Now this sums up why we lost.
