Who was it that played with Crosby in the Q?
Oh yeah, Dany Roussin and Marc-Antoine Pouliot.
Both SUPERSTARS!!!!

A bunch of homers in there. It's pretty funny. One guy defended Orpik being on team USA as saying him and Martin form a top shutdown pair. In the same paragraph he said Thornton has no place on Team Canada cuz he's too slow.

He was talking about building blocks, and Ladd is not one of them. That doesn't mean he won't be their for the next couple of years though, it just means you don't build your team around him. Pretty simple, no? Not sure what the Oilers had to do with it.

Hemsky is 30 right now, would you consider Hemsky a building block on the Oilers?

- 2gals1dane

Hemsky is a spare part that the team has been trying to move the last 2 years. I would take a gritty 2 way forward over a soft underperforming lazy bum any day of the week...

Well from my living room, it didn't look like a penalty either.

Was this the Dallas or the Ottawa game?

I'm not comparing the player, but the age, a player of that age is not a buidling block.
Do you really need a definition of a building block?

Perfect example of lack of respect, discipline and the reason why he won't be on the olympic team. no one wants that side show on their team

I wouldn't dare to ask any advice from a guy that wears white socks with shorts to tell you the truth. Clearly you missed my point which was that you need vets as building blocks in a rebuild.

I said he will stick around for a few years but you don't build around him.

Not sure what you don't understand.

Is there another player who's talked about sa much as Subban in regards to the Olympics?

This is beyond ridiculous.

agreed, the media is really trying to make something out of nothing.

But in TSN's defense they are trying to promote a Hockey game between the Panthers and Habs, and they probably think that they don't have any viewers that would be interested in that game.

"He's (Subban) a guy that's come in the league and hasn't earned respect," Richards told the Team 990 radio station after the game. "It's just frustrating to see a young guy like that come in here and so much as think that he's better than a lot of people. You have to earn respect in this league. It takes a lot. You can't just come in here as a rookie and play like that. It's not the way to get respect from other players around the league.

"Hopefully someone on their team addresses it, because, uh, I'm not saying I'm going to do it but something might happen to him of he continues to be that cocky."

Yeah, even still... Anyone with half a brain would realize it's nowhere close to PK's last audition...

Then again, judging by the people who post on TSN articles... They may be on to something.

...and then Mike Richards was traded and he became a player that will never score 20 goals in this league and will be a 50-ish point guy

Ahh, I was fast-forwarding that part I guess.

I typically fast forward all Habs penalty kills, so I don't always see the play before that lead to the call.

In this instance, I knew it was going to OT so I just skipped to the start of OT and found out they were shorthanded. As per above, I continued to fast-forward, saw Ottawa celebrating at hyperspeed, and shut off the game. No idea who scored or how.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T. From a guy that was traded out of town because he was partying with Jeff ''crazy mofo'' Carter.
