PK Subban had a phone conversation with Mike Murphy and Colin Campbell regarding his comments on the official's work after Saturday's game

He will not be fined but was told the NHL does not tolerate such comments about officiating.

If he was a Leafs, he'd be suspended for at least 5 games.

I just got put on a personal ban because I don't agree that Jordan Staal should be on Team Canada. The Pens fan has Crosby, Kunitz, Letang, Fleury and Staal on his team.

He actually referred to Kunitz as an elite player, all-star calibre his entire career.

- golfingsince

The NHL also did not exist prior to the Pens drafting Crosby

But Kunitz is 3rd in scoring, if that's not elite I don't know what is?

“I’d like to get an explanation of what I did wrong there,” Subban said.

He said he thought Canadiens’ goaltender Carey Price had the puck.

“I thought the play was over. It just didn’t really make sense to me.”

“Other than that, it seems like it’s personal to me because it has nothing to do with the game,” Subban added.

“Based on the standard of penalties, I don’t see a penalty there at all.”

Subban had the backing of Canadiens coach Michel Therrien.

“We were all able to see the penalty that was handed out,” Therrien said.

“One thing is certain: it’s not P.K.’s fault and I support him.”

He was talking about building blocks, and Ladd is not one of them. That doesn't mean he won't be their for the next couple of years though, it just means you don't build your team around him. Pretty simple, no? Not sure what the Oilers had to do with it.

Hemsky is 30 right now, would you consider Hemsky a building block on the Oilers?

I love Ladd but he's more valuable on a playoff team than the Jets.

If they got a great offer for him then they'd have to look at it.
