Classic case of coaches who bring absolutely NOTHING to the table, yet somehow hang around... - TouenneTiiTree
pretty sure most NHL coaches fall into that category. |

Anyone in the system? - golfingsince
Kid the drafted this year is supposed to be a gem.
I think they got some college kid also.
Pasqualle I guess is only 23 and doing well in the A but I think that's basically what he will be. A good AHL goalie. |

Seems to me like more than anything else, the Winnipeg Jets are in need of a Christmas firing... Sorry, I meant to fire Noel. There's no way that team should be that bad, Pavelec included. |

can't see them getting more than a second rounder for him but it would make sense for the Jets. |

Build around Trouba, scheifele, Kane and Bogosian. |

unlikely. maybe one or two other coaches. apparently, Philbin didn't want to fire him but had to otherwise he was out as well. and he and Ireland don't get along. but Ross wants to keep em both.
they are a complete mess from top to bottom.
wonder if they'll try to bring in Kubiak as OC. - DoubleDown
That really sucks. Philbin probably wanted an O-line, seems like that kind of coach. Then again, if we had an O-line Sherman might have been much more effective. I don't think it matters who the next OC is if they can't block. |

I'm not sure Reimer is any better though.
both are horrible on rebounds and have weak glove hands. |

im starting to think the biggest problem is Ross. he needs to hire a football man and just get the (frank) out of the way. |

I would start with a new coach, one that is at least close to competent. Then at least Cheveldayoff(sp?) can really evaluate who is worth keeping around for the re-build around the guys you've named. |

Remember 2 months ago when all Leafs fans were saying both Reimer and Bernier should make Team Canada because they had such great stats?

Bingo. Any other owner not named Jerry Jones would have canned the GM by now. Watch him trade up and select another D-lineman since the D gets tired as the season wears on. It wouldn't have anything to do with the O not being able to control the clock at all. |

I just got put on a personal ban because I don't agree that Jordan Staal should be on Team Canada. The Pens fan has Crosby, Kunitz, Letang, Fleury and Staal on his team.
He actually referred to Kunitz as an elite player, all-star calibre his entire career. |
