agree 100%. they're becoming painful to watch in their own end. the number of clean looks that the opposition gets night after night is nuts. - DoubleDown
Emelin is playing poorly, Diaz is soft, Bouillon is getting old and Murray is very slow. Patteryn wouldn't do any worst. He is having a great year on a weak team in Hamilton. Kid totally deserves it. |

Emelin is playing on right side, he is a left D. that's why he is struggling.
Habs have only 2 right handed D, PK and Diaz. Habs really need to trade for a good right D. |

the organization doesn't seem to have any patience for that learning curve on defence. that's why you see Murray and Bouillon getting significant ice time. |

they haven't fixed their problem, they keep signing left D's. (Bouillon/Murray) |

I mean, their record doesn,t mean much of anything if there isn't a single player on that team that could help the habs right now... |

Only watched 3 games this year...he was ok but didn't take his game to an higher level. He needs to bulk and get stronger on his skates. He might need a year or two. He is still Young there is no need to rush him. On the other hand, Patteryn was the best player on all 3 games. Beaulieu showed some flashes but the kid has jello between his ears... |

Winnipeg's Mark Stuart might be a good pickup this season or in the summer |

there are some big decisions to make on D this summer, especially if Markov walks.
i imagine Murray, Bouillon, Diaz are all gone. |

I don't buy this excuse. He plays with no confidence and isn't physical by any stretch of imagination. He also need to take better décisions with the puck and stop turning it over. |

I wouldn't mind him as a 3rd pairing D especially considering Bouillon and Murray will be gone after this year. Hopefully it will be the same with Diaz. |

I said this last night, but if this happens, people will justifiably start asking for Bergevin's head. Sign him or shop him at the deadline. This is the one player that should be negotiated now, even before PK (at least PK is RFA).
The only player that should be allowed to walk without being shopped would be Gionta. |
