i love how they single out PK, wondering if he can "handle a reduced workload". like that's not going to be true for half of the dmen who make the roster.

Yeah but he'd probably think it was personal.

youd like to see them go higher risk at that draft position, especially considering how many second rounders Nonis has dealt.

pretty sure he'll keep his mouth shut no matter what role he's asked to play. but it sounds like they're really over-thinking this one and i would not be shocked to see him miss out altogether.

Several of those Cloutier nuts wanted legit a Hall-RNH-Eberle line for Canada.

i think it would be best to stay away from any player with even the slightest connection to the Oilers.

I don't quite get the Vlasic love, he seems like Marc Staal with another name. A good top-4 guy to have but nothing mind blowing and really a lock on one of the best d corps you can make...I mean, he isn't even the Sharks number one defenseman...

Agreed. Say he becomes a half decent checking center (basically his upside) can't they find guys like that every off-season (McClemment)?

That's the part I don't get.
Take a chance on a Petan or someone like that....

I thought we had this thing figured out, no Quebec defensemen, all Quebec goalies and maybe one token forward allowed. If there are no token forwards available, a guy from Saskatchewan or Manitoba with a french last name will be provided.

i think one of he or Seguin should make it. i just really hope they take some chances with their picks and we don't just grab power forwards for the wings.

Points-per-game the highest scoring LW in the NHL....on a crap team.

Yeah...no room for a guy like him. Christ I'd put him on Crosby's wing.

what timing for Luongo... could be out a while now?
makes the third goalie choice all the more interesting.

Sharp...yes.
Seguin....I'd be a little hesitant but only because of all the rumors coming out of Boston at the end of the year.
