Wonders if the completely accurate point the old bat made about team Canada would have still stood if the better kids were from PQ? |

I really love how everybody in Ontario blames the Q, then everybody West of Ontario blames the OHL and Q, yet nobody blames the good old Western boys who play the game the white way. |

Sutter said today, the world has caught up at the junior level. it's not like this team was 1 or 2 players away. they lost to the Czechs and struggled with the Slovaks. even the win over the US doesn't look as impressive after their early exit. they could not compete with that Finnish team yesterday. |

The W sent 6 players and 3 were in the top 5 in team scoring?
For real, we need to stop assigning blame based on what league they play in. |

And Cherry said nothing. This year, when the guys being left off we're from Ontario, he demands justice. His point is accurate, but as political as the selection of the team. |

You could see it in the warm up, Habs were mostly standing around, barely moving. Sens were going hard, lots on intensity and it showed in the 1st period....well 13 seconds into the game.

I know many will say that a junior tournament does not a career make, but I called it before the draft last year that this kid is overrated. He had one good season and everyone fell in love with him. He has skill but the work ethic is far from being consistently there. I think he's likely to be a Turris 2.0. Now while there is nothing wrong with that, I just wouldn't have passed up on Jones for him... |

I'll give the (frank)er some credit, he was one of the few who went to the net and got rewarded.
Also...Murray |

Definitely Briere's better effort, regardless of the points.
I actually like Murray for what he brings. I am hoping that Tinordi will fill that spot next season. |

Far from being a Briere fan but he seems to get to the front an awful lot for a small guy. Puck simply rarely makes it there when playing with Moen and White and Parros. |
