After browsing through Augello's I may have to change my location to 2 games.
- golfingsince

I think the Leafs do end up getting suspended more than other teams... but I think thats because the exposure is just much higher. If a Leaf does something borderline, of course everyone knows about it and that is the reason why the Leaf player is more likely to be suspended. Not because of preferential treatment.

So it is a fair statement to say that Leafs are more likely to be suspended than other team's players on the same plays/types of plays, but the attributable cause is EXPOSURE and not PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT.

I'm sorry to disagree with you stormey, but I think Clarkson is just an hyperactive Travis Moen since he joined the leafs.

He yaps a whole (frank)ing lot, but he's absolutely useless.

and? WTF does that have to do with whether or not he's better than Kulemin.

At least he yaps a lot. Kulemin doesn't even do that. I'd rather have a player that doesn't do anything but is hard to play against than a player that doesn't do anything but is easy to play against.

Or, maybe the fact they are the team with the most hits in the NHL also means that they tend to do more dumb things than other teams?

Wait...

Are you suggesting that so far this season, Clarksson is "hard to play against"?

Possibly. Also, its really kinda hard to read into those stats because the stat keepers at each stadium are not the same people and have different ideas of what qualifies as a shot on net or a hit (or just are sloppy at keeping track).

The Captain, then?
- Pecafan Fan

Buff would be my guess.
Maybe Ladd but only because I think they would get a lot for him.

Well the NHL recorded more hits for the Leafs than other teams because of their exposure.

Nope. I really doubt that. Kane...no chance. Wheeler....doubtful.

I don't get the Kane rumors. Sure a couple of years ago he had issues off the ice but they have stopped and now you only hear good things about him.

Building teams don't trade 22 year old kids like him. Especially when they have just signed a long term deal.

he has an attitude problem and apparently his teammates absolutely hate him. and his coach won't endorse him for Team Canada. also he's black. kind of.

It wouldn't be a bad thing to trade Buff, teams would give up quite alot for him.
