Here's the list of pending 'rentals' as described by capgeek.

Who do you guys want from that list for a stretch drive, factoring asset cost and possibility of re-signing.

@strombone1: Chin up @TomSestito23 ...... Bobby Ryan didn't make the US Olympic team either

@tomsestito23: @strombone1 they said they weren't taking an All Star team and didn't take the best players obviously #2018

I still feel the Canucks should be sellers unless they find a monster trade

You know I wouldn't mind that, but only if they get a good return.

Edler and Burrows could get huge returns and Hansne Higgins or Santorelli could bring handsome returns also

I think the only person I'd want from that list would be Matt Moulson to play with the Sedins, but probably not worth the cost of aquisition. I didn't realize that he was 30

Jagr with the Sedins or Kesler could work. He gets around. Really though you could pick him up for cheap.

I wouldn't mind Goc as a 3rd line center, bump Richardson down to the 4th. I would love to have Stoner hear just to hear Marwood cheer for him.

I think we need to see where we are at the deadline before making that decision.

Jar would never sign in Vancouver because of the travel. I'd love him at the deadline. A 2nd. Canucks make it past the 2nd round it becomes a 1st

I don't think they should trade away too many pieces.

He fetched a first rounder last year and he's playing better this season. I think you'll be surprised what he gets traded for at the deadline.

He signed with Dallas, so maybe he could be convinced to take it a step further. Dude would be an awesome 2nd liner IMO, but only concern I have is that he's just playing for money at this point(he signed with Dallas then NJ).

From what I have seen lately in Kassian I think he is close to jumping to top 6 by the end of next year. He needs some surrounding toughness and havoc Like an Andrew Ladd. We need to weed out some oldtimers

He'll get another 1st or good prospect IMO. Great move by Lou to sign him, knowing that he basically acquired/bought a 1st rounder/good prospect.

I think I may the most pessimistic one when it comes to Kassian here, he's not ready for the top 6 right now IMO and I doubt he will be by year's end.

And they'll need something like that in return after trading away a 1st this year and not having a 1st rounder in the next draft.

We don't need to trade a first to get older.
