Terrible write up. Just a fan boy whining as usual.

Come on man, my Mom reads this and you will make her cry!
Seriously though, I don't know if I was that biased - I did admit it was a possibility, but Yandle's exclusion seems to be causing a universal questioning of the mental stability of Poile and Burke.
He's not just a different version of Letang as someone mentioned: he might just be the best of the (supposedly) one dimensional offensive dmen in his own end/ at five on five etc. But again, when I make statements like this, even though I fully believe them, I really try hard to remember that everyone thinks their guys are the best and that even if I do watch tons of games on TV- I really don't get to travel around and scout the league live and in person, so I try to keep an open mind that I am possibly wrong. For instance, someone who watches every Penguins game might think Letang is underrated defensively, and he might be.
Again, these are just my thoughts and I don't want to present them as if they are for sure, absolute, unquestionable facts. A lot of people subscribe to the idea that you can't just take the 20 best players. I think that's unreasonable, illogical and wrong, but no one has ever put be in charge of building a hockey team. (yet). In my opinion talent wins out and six Ryan Suters would be better than four Ryan Suters and 2 Brookes Orpiks.
Also, no love for Corey Schneider? I watched tons of Vancouver games the last few years and I believe that he is elite - it always boggles my mind how much stock people put in the present. I mean 3 months of Bishop playing good makes him a snub, but 3 months of splitting duties with Brodeur after 3 years of outplaying Luongo? Just something to think about.
Anyways, its a near certainty that Yandle will replace a sure to be injured Orpik, so there's always that.
